Benjamin was born at 11:31am and he was 19 inches and 8lbs 3oz. Bryce was 20 inches and 8lbs 6oz - so they were very close in size. He is so adorable and Bryce was so excited to meet his best friend! Congrats to Tracie and Chris - they are great parents and we can't wait to watch our little ones grow up together!
Here he is -
Adorable happy family!
Friday Britty and I went to the L.L. Bean employee store to score some amazing deals and get a bit of Christmas shopping done. I also got JR some waders for hunting for $7.50 and they are normally $100+ so he was happy. My birthday was Saturday so we went out to lunch with Auntie Britty and Auntie Beth to celebrate. It was so nice to see Beth since it had been a while. After that, we went to meet Benny. It was such a great day!
Today we went to the beach with G-dad, G-Ma, Uncle Jo, and Auntie Britty. It was good to see them since we hadn't seen them since Bryce and I took a trip down to Rockport with them. We got to play on the beach and then eat lunch with them. We stopped in to see baby Benny on the way home - and G-dad, G-Ma and Jo stopped in for a minute to meet him too.
We came home to relax for the night since JR has to be to work for 11:30pm - so he had to be in bed super early. I started on my Christmas shopping and list to figure out a plan of what we have left to do. Bryce went to bed a little bit early since he has been exhausted from not getting long naps the past couple of days. Hopefully he will take a long one tomorrow to make up for it. Since we haven't been home much the past couple of days - he hasn't been trying the potty as much. He is still sitting on there at least once a day so it is good that he is still trying! G-Ma got him some of the new Huggies slip-on diapers so I may try them for the next couple of days instead of his cloth diapers since they are easier to slip on and off with trying. I don't want to push it though so we will see how it goes. I would love to find some Chuggington stickers for him but we will see.
That has been most of our busy couple of days. Bryce loved the beach again and was up to his waist in the water and still kept trying to walk out further. He loves jumping in the waves. I am so glad he loves the ocean like me! Here are some pictures of Bryce being buried in the sand today at the beach -
