Another update

It has been a busy month. I have been working quite a bit and busy with throwing mom's 50th Surprise birthday party. Aunt Kelly and Aunt Karen came up for it as well as mom and dad's friends Terry and Blaine. It was a small event but it was nice to celebrate too! We were snowed in for the night too - so it was fun.

Bryce has grown again! Some of his 2T clothes are getting too short - especially his shirts. We don't really have to roll up his pants anymore either. He is in 3T PJ's too - our little man is growing too quickly. He has been talking so much lately and it is so cute when we actually understand what he is saying. The other day I put him down for nap and said "I love you" and he said it back to me! The next day I was putting him down for a nap and I was about to bring him upstairs, Jeremy said goodnight to him and Bryce said "Night daddy". I love that he is able to say love you and express himself so much more. He has also started saying "No" but usually when I say "Yes" to him, he will sway back to answering yes. I'm not ready for the "no" phase yet.

Bryce was also the cutest monkey ever for Halloween. We took him trunk-or-treating just to get him out for a bit. He really liked it too. I think he will really enjoy it next year! Bryce absolutely loves to be tickled. Once you start tickling him - he puts his hand up to his belly and tries to tickle himself while saying "tickle, tickle, tickle" and it is so sweet. He has such a personality and it is amazing to see how much he is changing. Today we went to the church service and the minister was knocking as part of the sermon and Bryce said "ello?" - it was so cute but embarrassing at the same time.

Bryce also got to play in the snow for the first time on 10/30. He loved it. He immediately dove into the snow and started eating it. He will have a blast this winter playing in all of it! We also got a new camera since I accidently dropped Britty's so now the lens won't go in :-(. I feel awful and we were also hoping to wait another month to get a camera. We also have to figure something out to replace hers too. We got a Nikon Coolpix 6100 and really like it so far. It takes great pictures.

I think that is all that is new. Thanks for reading! Here are a few pictures too.

A quick update on life

So I have been horrible about updating this again and I apologize. I have been working 40 hours the past 2 weeks and it has been an adjustment to leave the little man every day. We need to fill the oil tank so it is definitely good that I am working - just feels like it isn't helping enough at times.

I will try to recap again!

Bryce had his 18 month appointment (at almost 19 months) - but he is up to 34 1/2 inches (95%) and 29 lbs 2 oz (85%). Dr. Emerson said he is about the size of a 2 1/2 year old. We can't believe how big he is getting. He has changed so much.

Here are some photos and I will try to fill in along the way :-) -

On my last day home before work I took Bryce to story-time and we stopped at the park on the way home. It was the first time in months he didn't scream on the swings too!

So cute!

Stud -

Bryce loves "tickle tickle" right now. You tickle him and say "tickle tickle" and then he starts to tickle himself and say it over and over again. It is so cute to hear him say "tickle tickle tickle". <3

I made Bryce some homemade paint with the recipe here - http://easiepeasie.blogspot.com/2010/07/homemade-finger-paints.html

It came out awesome but Bryce ate more of it than anything ;-).

We checked out L L Bean on Jeremy and I's day off last week. We had to get the classic boot picture!

Our poor little man caught the cold that has been going around the house. Josie snuggled him though while I was cleaning up a bit. He is 100% better now though!

Here are the ghosts we have at the end of the driveway.

Bryce was making his halloween bats and spider hand prints and enjoyed tasting the homemade paint -

 Here are the spiders -

And a bat -

He also had dinner at the table like a big boy and did great!

He is so silly when he eats breakfast. Speaking of the word silly - I'm pretty sure Bryce called me silly the other day when I was joking around with him. He is so cute!

Here he is modeling his new moose hat. He is in his new back up car seat. It doesn't give him as much room in the car but he is only in it for a few minutes every couple of days so.

Today we went and saw Auntie Tracie and baby Benny and saw their gorgeous new house! He has gotten so big!

After nap we took Bryce to Pumpkinland. The Pumpkinland part was closed but we still had fun getting a pumpkin and checking out the petting zoo.

We found this amzing place on the way home. I love fall in Maine - it is absolutely beautiful!

Here he is "climbing" a tree!

I think that is all that is new. Sarah has been  watching Brycer for us while we are working and he loves playing with Micah and Kai when he is there. It is great that they have become best friends so quickly! I do miss him but it is great to know he is in great hands and having fun while we are gone.

Too much time has passed again...

Life has been so crazy busy lately that I keep forgetting to update this until I am already in bed. I will try to recap the last 10 days again without missing anything.

Bryce got a new puzzle which he likes to play with but he has already lost most of the pieces. I'm not quite sure where they have ended up but he looks super cute with it!

Jeremy and I picked out a Bruins hoodie for him at Target so he is ready for hockey season to begin -yay!

We meet G-dad, G-Ma, and Uncle Jo at the animal park for a quick trip. It was fun. The moose was out that day too and we got to see him up close!

Renee, Coura Beth, and Cheyeanna came to visit us on Wednesday too. Bryce was talking to Cheyea - it was really cute. Bryce had fun playing with Coura Beth like he usually does too!

Jeremy, Bryce and I went apple picking in the afternoon - it was perfect weather for it. We ran into Sarah, Ben, Micah, and Kai when we were there too!

On Thursday morning we checked out a School for Bryce to possibly go to while I work for the season. He came home and was tired after his snack. He was laying on me and I asked him if he wanted to go take a nap he said "yah" - so I brought him up and he took a 2 1/2 hour nap - although it was a couple hours early, he obviously needed it! Auntie Tracie stopped in with baby Benny while Bryce was napping - but Bryce got to see him when he woke up. Ben is so cute and getting so big!

Thursday night we spent the night in Waterville since Jeremy had to work out of Waterville on Friday morning. We had dinner at Applebee's with Grampy L.

We spent the night at G-Dad and G-Ma's house so that Jeremy could be up really early for work. Friday morning we had a visit from Great Grammy Marilyn. It was great to see her!

Bryce and I went out to breakfast with Uncle Jo Friday morning too. Bryce had fun coloring his first picture! He didn't eat the crayons for once!!!!

Didn't he do a great job?

Saturday and Sunday we just had some quiet days. We also went to a BBQ at Nick and Michelle's on Saturday and found out that Bryce will have a cousin in April. I'm sure Bryce will love having a cousin close to his age as he grows up. We watched football on Sunday and Jeremy worked all weekend again too.

Bryce has started asking "whatcha got there?" or "whatchu got?" all the time now. It is so cute. Bryce and I checked out storytime on Monday - but it is baby time and he wouldn't sit still for it. I think we will stick to toddler time from now on and see if he pays more attention.

Bryce still sits on the potty at least once a day. On Thursday I did catch him in the middle of going poop and sat him on the potty and he was done right after he sat down. I don't think that he really tried to do anything, but at least he didn't tense up and hold it like he normally does. I counted it as pooping on the potty and got excited and showed him that is where it goes so hopefully he stays interested!

I started training for the season today. It is so bittersweet to go back. I missed Bryce so much but I know it is for the best since I need an income also. It was so hard to leave him. It was nice to have adult interaction again but I am so upset that I won't see him much for the next 6 months. It looks like I will be working about 40 hours for the next 3 months and then the CNA training starts up in January. It is so bittersweet. I hope it starts to get easier over time. Once the CNA training is done - I hope to be working part time so I can see him more!

I think that is all that is new now. Bryce has his 18 month appointment on Friday so I will try to update then with his stats! I have to work every day until Saturday but hopefully I will be able to sneak in an update then. Other than that - things are going well.
