Too much time has passed again...

Life has been so crazy busy lately that I keep forgetting to update this until I am already in bed. I will try to recap the last 10 days again without missing anything.

Bryce got a new puzzle which he likes to play with but he has already lost most of the pieces. I'm not quite sure where they have ended up but he looks super cute with it!

Jeremy and I picked out a Bruins hoodie for him at Target so he is ready for hockey season to begin -yay!

We meet G-dad, G-Ma, and Uncle Jo at the animal park for a quick trip. It was fun. The moose was out that day too and we got to see him up close!

Renee, Coura Beth, and Cheyeanna came to visit us on Wednesday too. Bryce was talking to Cheyea - it was really cute. Bryce had fun playing with Coura Beth like he usually does too!

Jeremy, Bryce and I went apple picking in the afternoon - it was perfect weather for it. We ran into Sarah, Ben, Micah, and Kai when we were there too!

On Thursday morning we checked out a School for Bryce to possibly go to while I work for the season. He came home and was tired after his snack. He was laying on me and I asked him if he wanted to go take a nap he said "yah" - so I brought him up and he took a 2 1/2 hour nap - although it was a couple hours early, he obviously needed it! Auntie Tracie stopped in with baby Benny while Bryce was napping - but Bryce got to see him when he woke up. Ben is so cute and getting so big!

Thursday night we spent the night in Waterville since Jeremy had to work out of Waterville on Friday morning. We had dinner at Applebee's with Grampy L.

We spent the night at G-Dad and G-Ma's house so that Jeremy could be up really early for work. Friday morning we had a visit from Great Grammy Marilyn. It was great to see her!

Bryce and I went out to breakfast with Uncle Jo Friday morning too. Bryce had fun coloring his first picture! He didn't eat the crayons for once!!!!

Didn't he do a great job?

Saturday and Sunday we just had some quiet days. We also went to a BBQ at Nick and Michelle's on Saturday and found out that Bryce will have a cousin in April. I'm sure Bryce will love having a cousin close to his age as he grows up. We watched football on Sunday and Jeremy worked all weekend again too.

Bryce has started asking "whatcha got there?" or "whatchu got?" all the time now. It is so cute. Bryce and I checked out storytime on Monday - but it is baby time and he wouldn't sit still for it. I think we will stick to toddler time from now on and see if he pays more attention.

Bryce still sits on the potty at least once a day. On Thursday I did catch him in the middle of going poop and sat him on the potty and he was done right after he sat down. I don't think that he really tried to do anything, but at least he didn't tense up and hold it like he normally does. I counted it as pooping on the potty and got excited and showed him that is where it goes so hopefully he stays interested!

I started training for the season today. It is so bittersweet to go back. I missed Bryce so much but I know it is for the best since I need an income also. It was so hard to leave him. It was nice to have adult interaction again but I am so upset that I won't see him much for the next 6 months. It looks like I will be working about 40 hours for the next 3 months and then the CNA training starts up in January. It is so bittersweet. I hope it starts to get easier over time. Once the CNA training is done - I hope to be working part time so I can see him more!

I think that is all that is new now. Bryce has his 18 month appointment on Friday so I will try to update then with his stats! I have to work every day until Saturday but hopefully I will be able to sneak in an update then. Other than that - things are going well.

Videos from the Zoo

It has been a busy 10 days! Long update...

This month is flying by and I have been neglecting updating this since I didn't realize how long it had been so I apologize for that.

I will try to remember everything that happened in the past 10 days! First of all - Bryce's new trick is climbing onto the couch by himself which makes us super nervous. He decided he wanted to walk on it the other day without holding onto anything - thankfully I got to him before anything happened. He is just so fast these days. I was in the kitchen cleaning up and came out since he was very quiet - he had climbed up on the couch and curled up like he was about to go to sleep. He wouldn't let me get a picture while he was actually laying down - but you get the idea ;-). I can't believe that he has absolutely no fear.

On Friday (the 9th), Jeremy's dad dropped off my birthday gift from Jeremy's parents - a wagon and Bryce had fun testing it out. He didn't really want to sit in it but had fun pushing it all around the room.

That Saturday (the 10th) - we went to the Rick Charette concert at the Maine Wildlife Park with Renee, Coura Beth, Cheyeanna and Auntie Britty. It was fun even if Bryce was in a pretty cranky mood that morning :-P. He played some of our favorites - "Bubblegum" and "I love Mud". Bryce danced a little bit and played in the dirt during the concert. Renee gave him some peanut butter crackers that calmed him down towards the end too :-).

On Sunday September 11th - it was the 10th Anniversary of the horrific events that took place on September 11th, 2001. *We will never forget. We are so thankful for those who fight for our freedom every day. We also kept those who have lost family members on that day and the service members that have been lost in our thoughts and prayers.*

On this day we took Bryce on his first trip to the Zoo. We took him to the Franklin Park Zoo in Boston, MA. He loved the Zoo. It was so incredible to see the excitement on his face when he saw all the animals and the amazement in his eyes. He talked to a Mandrin monkey through the glass. He said "awww" like he does to the kitties and put his hand out on the glass and started talking to him. It was so cute.

They also had a 9 month old gorilla baby that was about the size of Bryce. He liked watching her too. One of the zoo workers told us that the mom had 3 gorilla babies of her own and 2 adopted babies throughout her life. She saw the woman's ring through the glass that was standing next to us and put her hand out saying that she wanted to see it. Apparently she loves rings and always asks to see them - pretty amazing.

Here are some pictures from the day -

 YAY BRUINS!

Bryce's new friend!

He got to pet a goat and loved it. He said "aww" to the goat too before he pet it -

We got to feed a Budgie :-)-

Night, Night!

Thanks to Auntie Britty for being our photographer for the day!

Football season has begun! The Patriots opened the season on Monday night football! YAY!

Touchdown!

Stinky piggies!

Quarterback in the making. He makes the throw and follows through!

Go Patriots!

On Tuesday we got to go outside for a bit! Love these big blue eyes :-).

On Wednesday we went to see baby Benjamin again. He is so cute! He was sleeping when Bryce and Jeremy were there but I still got some cute pictures of him. I can't believe he is 2 weeks old already.

I'm not sure what day it is but Jeremy had gone to bed for work before Bryce went to bed. A couple hours later Bryce said "dada na na" - asking if he had gone "night night". It was so cute!

I think that recaps the past 10 days for the most part. Sorry for the long post! I am going to keep to keep updating this much more.
